If you have household items or furniture which are surplus to your needs, you
are on the doorstep of The Furniture Project, which is based in the Boughton
Industrial Estate. The project's aim is to help people in need by providing essential items of
furniture free of charge. The furniture is donated by the public across a wide
area, including Egmanton, and will be collected by the Project's staff in their
own vehicles. You can arrange to have your items removed for donating to
families in need. Surplus goods and items which are unsuitable to pass on - e.g.
too large etc. are sold to raise funds to maintain the Project.
It is also
possible to arrange local house moves at competitive prices, which again
provides income to keep the Project running.
